The Southern Hemisphere grape season is in full swing, and at Salix Fruits, we couldn’t be more excited to share all the latest updates!

From South Africa, with its incredible grapes from Hex River, Limpopo, Northern Cape, and Namibia, we’re seeing varieties like Sugraone, Flame, and Sable. In Namibia, we're already packing IFG grapes, a new selection that's making waves.

Chile is also at its peak, with grape production transitioning from the north to the central regions of the country. At Salix Fruits, we have it all: from classic varieties like Thompson and Flame to innovative ones like Arra 15, 29, and Sugra 14. It’s a mix of tradition and innovation that’s taking markets in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and Latin America by storm.

And let’s not forget Peru, where the harvest is already underway. The grapes are spectacular—vibrant reds, perfect sizes, and an unmatched flavor. The first shipments are already on their way to the UK and Europe, featuring varieties like SugarCrisp, Allison, AutumnCrisp, and many more.

While there are challenges, such as a lack of rainfall in southern Ecuador, the season is shaping up to be highly strategic, especially with the transition between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. This is driving strong demand in Europe and the UK.

In the coming weeks, South African grapes will start arriving in full force! And as always, we remain committed to delivering the finest fruit to every corner of the globe.
