We are shipping the first Californian grapes!
After the end of the Mexican season, 2 weeks ago, we began shipping our red and green seedless varieties to the Latin American and Asian markets.
A season with exceptional qualities is expected, both in the traditional varieties and in the new varieties where the Jack Salute, Great Green, Sweet Globe, and Cotton Candy stand out.

The season will run from late July to October. A decrease in the number of boxes is expected from about 110 MM in 2019 to a projected 95 MM boxes this year, with higher quality than the previous year.
Ignacio Nacho Vidales, Salix manager for Latin America, comments that “Latin America is a market in which we have been growing strongly year after year, with greater volume in traditional varieties and little by little entering the new ones. That is why we already carry out shipments of seedless reds and greens, and next week we will start with Red Globe shipments, a variety where we concentrate a strong volume”.

Also, he adds that “as for Asia, we started the season with air shipments and then intensified the shipments of the new varieties, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia”.
