Fruit Logistica 2023: Salix Fruits made an impact with a World Cup theme stand

Fruit Logistica, the largest international trade fair in the fruit and vegetable sector, was held from February 8-10 in Berlin, bringing together attendees from around the world and offering exhibitors a platform to showcase their products and make contacts with potential buyers.

It was the 6th participation for Salix Fruits, leading company in the import and export of fresh fruits, which had a unique booth and one of the most popular and photographed in the fair.

With a big wallpaper with Messi and the Argentinian national team holding the World Cup, Salix’s booth was the scenery for plenty of assistants that took pictures with a World Cup replica trophy.

“We were very happy to welcome our customers and suppliers one more time in Fruit Logistica. This year with a bigger stand and a new location to receive all our friends”, says Ignacio Vidales, Sales Manager at Salix Fruits,. who highlighted that “2022 was a very important and challenging year for us, we were acquired by Grubarket in April, which was a significant boost for our company”.

This year Salix developed its supply in new origins such as Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey, and opened a new office in Spain. They also had a big development in their Indian office and developed a huge supply in new origins such as Egypt, Morocco, and Turkey especially focusing on their citrus business.

“We also continued our strong leadership in the US business with the import of citrus from all over the world especially Spain, Morocco, and Argentina. This year we expect an improvement in the logistic rates and will be very good for our business to continue growing all over the world”, concludes Vidales.
